Being able to move light around at night so I didn't have to use a single background. My aesthetics could have been better I will admit these aren't my best pictures but the one I took, were to the best of my skills.https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/gallery/c923d79ug0cm98habtgcp9am0jo?cfem=1I could have spent more time trying to come up with creative ways.I did put work into the pictures I did take and tried to make them covey meaning.I could have added more creativeness and more variety.

And they were supposed to emphasize the subject and the reflection.I believe it did because with the plain colors, the brighter colors reflected were emphasized.I believe the quality expressed was what I was trying to achieve . It was done so by enhancing photos and emphasizing on what was supposed to be.https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/gallery/c4qo6d5fu090bquf23te3bu0lgsI expressed innovative ideas and took risks.

11/6/2013 11:50:54BrooksGahart6Interest Silhouette3.443.4One memorable moment I remember is walking into my drive way and seeing the sunset through the trees and I thought I had to get that shot because it had a lot of emotion. Yes I wanted emotion and I got down low so my subject looks like it is looming in the shot. Yes I moved my subject around to get different shots and I gave her different materials to utilize. I think my overall album is a success because it captured the meaning I was looking for by using different materials and different areas of the my school and community. https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/100391040766628346739/albums/5942839789492898097I feel that I captured the emotion that I was aiming for which was to evoke happiness. I postioned myself so that I could get a shot that people haven't seen before with the shots that I got. For most of my shots I got down low so that mu subject looks as if it is looming over me. I did this so I could get more emotion into my shots.

11/6/2013 11:51:38LindseyKimpler6Interest Silhouette3.344Highlights of creating this album would be getting to go down by the lake, and using a picture from when I was up north. Also, me and my little sister had a good time taking pictures. My pictures evoked a calm meaning. The lake picture looks clam, smooth, and happy. I really like that picture and I hope others did too! My manipulation didn't really help my cause because on some nights I went out to late so it was to dark to take pictures. It was disappointing because I really wanted to get some good outside pictures but that didn't really work out. The meaning of my artwork would be to show other people that there is more to taking pictures then just aiming and clicking. This silhouette album didn't really express what I was trying to achieve because I feel like I could do better.https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/118248435941822816996/albums/5941356033924648993I gave myself a 3.3 because on some pictures I did the same thing only different poses. I didn't use much creativity in this album for 3 of the pictures. I have myself a 4 because I tried my best to capture good pictures. Some of them didn't turn out as I planned, but I still put effort into it. My artwork is designed with purpose to show figures with back round lighting. I took them at different angles so I could get different perspectives.

11/6/2013 11:55:29KristenEdgar6Interest Silhouette43.44I really like the city one and ones where I took a photo of a friend in front of the sun setting. All photos spark some sort of interest in me especially the intent with which I intended behind them I think it did. By altering the contrast and brightness I enabled the photos to project the silhouettes to stand out more and become more dramatic overall. The whole point of this was to show our interests. My interests include all of the photos I have captured- friendship, water, nature, music etc. https://plus.google.com/photos/104210980409448898137/albums/5942478044146028337I think nearly all of the photos I captured are unique. Apart from the tree silhouettes, there aren't many other photographers who duplicated my attempts. With photo editing and clear shots the photos turned out nice. One came out a bit blurry, however overall they're just about all well focused. Overall there's a theme with the orang-ish/sunset-ish coloring and intense shadows, apart from the purple concert photo.

11/6/2013 12:10:55AdamDelisi6Interest Silhouette3.33.43.4the first time frank got on the bench and I noticed it would work.I think the jumping pictures kind of evoke a sense of freedom by showing the subject jumping into complete nothing or sky. The others look like they have more of a meaning of sorrow from just the outline of the subjects body. The technique of getting under the table to shoot benefited the picture by giving the picture a unique point of view.I think it does express that feeling of mystery I was trying to give with the crisp backgrounds and the dark subjects in focus.https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/106607727298149456597/albums/5943201157685082641I thought the idea of sitting under somebody while they jumped over me was creative, but I ended up with very similar pictures.I thought the design of the pictures were pretty decent and how the ones of the sky were very clean and not distractingI think my design does have purpose and the bland background of the over exposed sky helps to draw your eyes onto the subject of the picture.

11/6/2013 12:15:30SarahBeucher7Interest Silhouette444The positive memory of this album is that i got to look into the sunset or rise and just stood there and soaked it all in, and it calms my thinking. It was supposed to be dark with a light background and some of my picture just turned out dark but its okay because you can still tell the difference between the background and the object. I thought it was kind of difficult to get the pictures at a certain type of time with having work and school. But i did manage to get some in there and me having a feild in the back of my house really helped me. It did look how i wanted it to look. 11/6/2013 17:00:29CheyenneGrant6Interest Silhouette43.43.4A memorable moment was when I was on my roof taking pictures and I realized it was a really pretty view. I think so because I didn't over load the image with tons of shadows which made it simply and easier to understand.Going on my roof gave me a better view of the sun setting and benefited to the silhouette aspect of the pictures.I think if I could've gotten a better sunset or better lighting I could've taken better pictures or more pictures to choose from. So the quality was okay.https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/115300264171348154970/albums/5943204750671429553Its creative and original because no one else had my view of the pictures that I took. 11/7/2013 21:25:24AnnelieseCeisel6Interest Silhouette444One of the many positive moments was taking many of the sunset photos. It was difficult to get them with there being very little sunset, but the crisp cool air, and the open, extensive land was very calming. It was definitely a moment I want to remember. They did show emphasis on the silhouettes. The meaning that was supposed to be evoked was interest. I manipulated contrast and color to emphasize both the subject, and the meaning.I believe it did. I had to manipulate the light, the angles, and the time of day each photo was taken. It was difficult but I believe I accomplished by goal and that taking the extra effort benefitted my cause because I got the result I was looking for. The appearance is supposed to appear simple and plain with just a hint of detail, and to have a nice silhouette in front of the background to spark interest. I believe that the quality does express what I was trying to achieve, because even thought it was cold out when I was taking the photos, I was able to get some un-blurry ones with nice subjects that could be made into silhouettes nicely.https://plus.google.com/events/c923d79ug0cm98habtgcp9am0joThis was definitely a difficult album, especially with the changing of the weather and sunsets. However, I feel that I took a lot of risks, and expressed innovative ideas. I utilized expressions using design principles and I demonstrated by own artistic voice. 11/14/2013 13:30:32CheyenneGrant6Hope Vignette3.43.44My most memorable one was the picture with the hand drawing the focus from the singer and the light shining onto the hand. It looks the coolest and probably engages the viewer the most.I think the vignette itself can evoke meaning even on the most simplistic picture. So I think I had some meaning but overall there was room for improvement.Yea I had to manipulate the materials because I didn't have people to take pictures of. So a majority of my pictures are of me or animals, but in mine I tried to take abstract poses not showing all of me either. It expresses a good amount of what I was trying to achieve. I believe some pictures were more successful than others, but overall they all did good.https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/115300264171348154970/albums/5946192567044481969I think I could I have been more creative in the angles and pictures I took. I could have found more interesting things to take pictures of, or people. But I didn't have many people to take pictures of.I think making the vignette was easy, cause all you had to do to show emotion was darken or lighten the edges. The picture you took depended on whether you made it sad or happy.I think the two pictures I have of Hayley Williams were my best and show some awesome emotion. I like the live performance aspect. Also the one where the camera focused on the hand and you can see the light really engages the viewer.

1/16/2014 11:12:29JuliaRook6Gratitude Shape444When a group of us went outside and had fun taking pictures.Yes, because when I took photos of the softball stuff, I really cared about it.Yes, when I edited them, I wanted them to look good, so I really devoted myself into the photos.Yes, it was relating to myself.https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/gallery/ck31kmc0phg3f86kch6ooa5odd0?sort=3I really tried to be unique with the pictures that I took. I used two different types of apps to edit my photos for them to be special and intense.I put my personality into some of these photos by taking pictures of objects that are used in baseball and softball. (Softball is my favorite sport)

1/16/2014 13:58:13ericasilberschmidt7Hope Vignette33.33.4When we took this picture we were just messing around but it ended up being my favorite picture of them I think it showed hope in the sense that they are making a heart and seem happyyes it made the picture more simple and lighter it brought softness to the picture I think I did a good job but I should upload a couple more photos to complete the albumhttps://plus.google.com/u/0/events/gallery/cr3973qg6j7135e7evav545ii14?sort=3&authkey=CN7npaW_jqGNFgI mean its a little cliché but it is different than the others photos The picture was framed well and had the blurred light of a vignetteFriends get you through a lot so they are a good representation of hope

1/22/2014 10:13:47KayleeHuycke6Hope Vignette444The first time I skyped my friend in the UK, Poly. c:The meaning was to show that even though it's different and alone around all the other trees, it's still beautiful. I believe it did because it brought more focus to the Aspen tree. It deserves an Oscar. https://plus.google.com/events/gallery/cr3973qg6j7135e7evav545ii14?pid=5955833569699267138&oid=114596702497117241286It's a rare coincidence and it's not common to get this kind of shot. Blurred surroundings and edges to focus on the Aspen tree in the middle. The intent was to focus on the lone aspen tree in the distance and surrounded by larger pine trees. Something that was rare and beautiful to see.
