Garrett InceDream Home Projecthttp://www.floorplanner.com/projects/28119493-mr-ince-s-classroom/edit#assetsTake your floor plan drawing on graph paper and bring it to life in floorplanner. The precision required to create an accurate floor plan on graph paper is an important skill. However, it's also a skill that could be accomplished 30 years ago. Today's job market will demand that employees be able to use the latest and greatest technology to allow others to truly visualize the future product. Floorplanner allows students to take their original "paper thought," and see a more entertaining and accurate model develop before their eyes.

Dustin MillsapChild Labor During the Industrial Revolutionhttps://www.thinglink.com/scene/500026012449374210The challenge is for students to better understand why children were necessary during the Industrial Revolution. I enjoyed using the thinglink tool because you can embed multiple forms of information (sound, video, text, images, and questions). You could use this in many different ways, formative assessments, quickwrites, exit slips, etc. I've spent much of my time trying to navigate the numerous tools that you've exposed us to today.

James LlamasEducating Elementary Parents on the Benefits of Musichttp://prezi.com/j5zjsdwvmpwx/benefits-of-music-education/I can create a Presi similar to the sample, that details the benefits of getting children involved in music education at a young age. I can make this presentation to elementary parents and encourage them to take advantage of many free opportunities to get their children involved in music. This is recruitment for the long-term success of my music program.Presi makes things entertaining and fun to watch. Both students and parents will be able to sit through a presentation and be entertained.I will also use ThingLinks to allow young students to explore the instruments they are interested in playing online.

Dustin MillsapChild Labor: Cotton Mills in Great Britain (1835-1867)https://infogr.am/app/#/edit/dmillsap_1394568161Compare and contrast different types of charts as they relate to the Industrial RevolutionI liked playing around with the infographic app. Some of the charts are more powerful than others. It would be cool to utilize different graphs while using the same data. Again, I just wanted to try to navigate many of these apps today just to familiarize myself with the technology. Amazing how many useful web tools there are. And I'm sure we haven't even scratched the surface.

SharonGoogle for Academics https://www.khanacademy.org/Teaching students to use computers for academic purposes, and giving them the tools to find, sign into, and utilize their Google accounts. Then, helping them access Khan Academy to strengthen their math skills. I choose these basic tools to get my students started. From here I hope I can integrate more web tools. It takes a lot of time to research the different tools, but there is a lot of great things out there.

Nick Williamshttps://sites.google.com/a/guhsd.net/weldingandfabrication/home/welding-and-fabrication/advanced-metal-design-fabrication-and-welding/advanced-projects/build-a-shopMy main goal was student access to information. In this format I no longer need to print instructions or display the rubric in the room. Students have access to these things at all times. There is also an example for them to view as guidance. This assignment in the past has been done on paper. They now have a standard program to use and a system to turn in electronically.
