1/3/2012 17:42:37I've found in my travels that researching the climate beforehand and then beginning a "master packing list" about two weeks beforehand makes packing a lot less stressful, and allows for a lot of time to add things you may have forgotten if you'd waited until the last minute.

1/4/2012 8:45:05If you bring an ATM card with you , call the bank to let them know when you are traveling so you will be able to access the card.` Señora

1/11/2012 20:28:42You can also bring your cell phone if you have one of the newer versions, you just have to activate the global access thingy for the month and you're all set! Calling for verizon is extra, I believe 99 cents a minute in foreign countries, as is txting.

I was wondering if there is a specific bank that would be best to use to get the ATM card or set up an account with?

1/19/2012 17:49:50Always pack an extra pair of clothes on your carry on just in case of diversions or cancelled flights, etc. It comes in handy. Also carry all your medications on carry on. Prescription medications are exempt from the liquid volume amounts if the prescription has YOUR name on it. i.e. prescription cough medicine
Make your checked bag easily identifiable, there is at least 400 black roller bags on the flight. Ex: put a big bow or something unique on your bag
Know what type of suitcase your taking, the maker/brand name in case it gets lost. This also comes in handy.

1/26/2012 21:55:24When we get to Malaga and the hotel, we should set up a designated meeting place. Also, everyone should carry the business card or address of the place we are staying at so if we get lost we can give it to a cab driver and go back there.
On passports: you should scan it and email it to yourself. That way, you can access your passport from anywhere in the world using a computer.
Lastly, divide up your cash. A little on your person at all times, a little in the hotel room, a little in a day bag, and a little in that pocket in your suitcase that nobody can find but you. That way, if one stash is lost, you have at least a couple others to fall back on.
