10/31/2013 17:03:59Heard the news of the passing of Alice (Bothelo as I largely knew her) with much sadness. Have very fond memories of her teaching me (geography I think) at DRGS. To much regret our paths were never to cross again, despite my umpteen trips to N America over the yrs. More than half a century later the years have not dimmed the bright and sparkling memories I have of her. My condolences to Mr Britto (who I also remember) and the family. It was teachers like them who made our childhoods such happy onesAlfred de Araujoalfdearaujo@yahoo.com

12/1/2013 10:40:07Alice Botello Britto has a very special place in my life. She thought me Maths in 7th standard and she was such an excellent teacher, that although I did not take Maths in secondary school, I turned out to be an accountant, thanks to her faith in me. Does anyone remember the Durells Maths Book we used? My condolences to your family. R I P. Vivienne D'Silvamercedes450slc@gmail.com

1/17/2014 9:18:49With Deepest Sympathies to Mr. Britto and family.
I remember Alice Britto as a Charming and Classy teacher, who gave us a welcoming smile that brightened my day! She was always a dedicated teacher who devoted her life to the educational needs of her students. I was fortunate to be taught by her and admired her greatly. Her desire for teaching did not stop at the DRGS Nairobi, but continued thru to the U.K. and Canada. What a great inspiration to all her students!. Her Zest for life and her determination to overcome obstacles will continue on and forever be etcherd in my heart! May Her Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

10/25/2019 1:47:55Mrs. Alice Britto was our neighbour in Nairobi Kenya, we lived in Eastleigh. My mother Mariam Mathan was a teacher for many years at St. Teresa's Boys School. We will never forget Mrs Britto's kindness when my father passed away suddenly and my mother was seriously ill at the same time from chicken pox. Both Mr and Mrs Britto took such good care of us , we will never forget their kindness. Saddened to hear of her passing after many years, came across it by chance today Oct 25 , 2019 - Bina Karamjeet ( nee Mathan)Bina Mathanbina.karamjeet@yahoo.com
