It was very sad to hear the sad news, as we had no idea that Ida was ill. We offer our prayers to all the family. May it be some comfort to you to know that others share in your grief. I too enjoyed sharing good times in school, we used to all he China doll, always had a sweet smile,I always felt close to Ida, Tony knew Dimmy very well. I had the priviledge and honour to invite Ida and a few of our classmates for dinner, we enjoyed the evening, she gave me a beautiful serving bowl which I will always cherish, I enjoyed making phone calls regularly in Melbourne, I was very sad when I heard she was sick, Ida told me she loved to be with the grandchildren in California.
Goodbye my friend, will miss you forever,
Our prayers and comfort go out to the families.

2/14/2014 0:22:56Pls accept our deepest condolences on the sad demise of our beloved cousin Ida. Yes, we were all one big family in Nariobi, all going to the same school & church, always dropping to our house very close to the church at Parklands, breakfast at our place & then move on. We have very very close bonds with her & spent pleasant days at each others homes. Just too close to forget. My Dad & Mom U.Aris & A. Ida were just too fond of her & very often depended on her for decision factors. We lost touch once we left Nairobi for India. However, memories will never ever fade. Love to the family as well.
