3
KevinDon't that that crappy Chinese scooter
4
charlieyour last ride took 27 days what's the speed of these bikes you're looking at a2 month trip. you to get that iron butt award
5
BobThis is going to be fun - to watch :-) I'm sure you'll make it one way or another.
6
DaveThe other scooter was too powerfull? LOL
7
Gary VWhat's wrong with you! A chinese 70? Now I'm worried that S.A.A. 2015 might not happen. You might be crazy enough to ride across America once on a scooter but how crazy do you have to be to ride it twice? Insane? You'll probably cross America in a air-conditioned motor coach/chase vehicle for 2015. Ya think?
8
Jeff mYou two are nuts. Lol !!! I'm d
9
Jeff mOpps fat fingered the last response. You two are nuts!! I'm impressed Have fun.
10
Garth WIn 1972 I drove a Honda XL250 across canada and my buddy was on a Suzuki TS185. We rode slow and not a lot of miles each day. No reason why your bikes won't make the trip. Looking forward to your experience
11
TompGr8 idea

17
Gary VThat was Amazing! You guys were like the Energizer Bunny yesterday, you kept going and going! It must have been a scenic ride thru Big Sur eh? I can't believe you made it up San Marcos Pass on saturday with those air cooled Chinese bikes. You guys are studs!
18
Bill SUh Oh! It's 8am Monday and I don't see your Spot moving. Did those scoots give you trouble? Or did your alarm not go off? Come on... I"m ready to follow you (from my desk chair!).
19
Miguel BU GO BOYZZZZ
20

22
Tom BHey guys looks like you are having fun. That hot chicken looked good.Let the journey begin.
23
Bob FWish I would have seen earlier that you were headed to SF. You could have stayed and dined with us. Good luck with today's leg.
24
Garth WBeautiful scenery and so many unique things you see off the beater track, but who would have thought they would put cheap early wear tires on those bikes.
25
Bill RGood start! Keep going!
26
DavidSLove it.. Have fun be safe
27
Bob HWas just in SF a couple of weeks ago for the Alcatraz Triathlon. Can picture you and your tiny bikes on that massive bridge. Stay safe.
28
Bill S
29
Bill SMotor on Glassetts! Headed towards the Sierras. Test those bikes on some hill climbs.
30
KipWLove the day by day updates and photos...keep it up.
31
Patrick MKevin, I wanted to ride and join you for lunch somewhere on Hwy 50 near Tahoe, but my new battery (the problem with the bike was a defunct battery) won't arrive for a few days - Damn!!
32
Vic MIn my old stomping grounds. I lived in San Rafael and would bike most of the areas you guys Scooted. Only goes uphill from Sac town...
33
Jeff mHey kevin, just a thought. If the shifting on you 70 is still an issue. Try a Lucas oil additive called oil stabilizer. It works great when my trucks have transmission issues
34
Bob FLooks like the scooters are broken in now...over 32 for sure!
35
Trudy GLoved the photo of the bridge in the fog! Looks like the fun is just beginning:)
36
Bob FBob Dogs Pizza...the best of South Lake Tahoe! Primavera or Tahoe Supreme?
37
DavidSLove it. Sorry you lost your pine cone.. On your updates can you tells us how many miles you rode that day. Thanks be safe
38
AngelaSuch beautiful pictures from my neighborhood. I immediately recognized your picture on Pleasant Valley road of the oak trees surrounding the road. I always felt that place was so beautiful. Your gas fill up was the most expensive around...views are beautiful here. Glad you enjoyed your country drive and are staying safe.
39
Terryt Nyou and your son are super man
40
Jeffrey GCan we have a break yet?????????
41
AviI am still not sure if you are crazy, insane or just having a blast... I hope you're having fun, because we sure are following your adventures from the comfort of our computer screen.
42
AviDid you run into other guys on scooters yet?
43
Rich G.So when Jeffery's scooter takes a dump can you 2 ride on your bike the rest of the way?
44
Jeffrey Gto answer Avi yes we did run into other scooter riders however they were only in the beach towns. For Rick yes my dad will ride on my shoulders and we will finish the ride or will figure out someway to both make it even if it is a trailer for the 70.
45
Bob FMaybe time for nostalgia....get a kick out of Route 66 ??
46
AviI'm glad the rain did not ground the scooters, like it tends to do to old bikes...
47
bob fMake like a flamingo, head south.
48
Tim GlassettLove following your ride and watching the video's. Excellent fun adventure. I watch for your posts eagerly every day to see how the little scooter are fairing.
49
John EFreeking Awesome. I have friends that send blogs from rides in the most remote parts of the world but somehow this adventure has me mezmerized.
50
Jeff mGreat story on Jeff's scooter. But. What about the 70?? Is it really a SCOOTER!!
51
gpsKevinBob, the route itself is turning out really cool, no route66 but we are on parts of the Lincoln Highway
52
gpsKevinBTW: I am rethinking my scooter limit of 150cc next year, I am dreaming of big bikes right now.
53
Bob HIt appears that you're well past the point of no return.
54
Bill SRide on - Big boys on little bikes!
55
Bob FI liked the sign " Moose next seven miles' Was that warning everyone that you were coming through ya big moose?
56
Gary V.Any action at Old Faithful? It looks like your batteris on your tracker were dead for a while. How are those Chinese bikes holding up? Any more strange noises? And how's those tires holding up? I wonder what kind of reception you'll get from the "Bikers" when you roll into Sturgis on those Chinese Scooters? Ha! Wish I could see that! You guys are Studs! Keep up the good work!
57
gpsKevinGary, the bikes seem mostly good. Changed the rear tire last night and the Scooter is making a funny squeel when it starts. but all seem good
58
dorothy LHooray! Today you are in my neighborhood! Wish I was there to fix you a nice hot lunch! I see you are about to head across Chief Joseph.... Feast your eyes on the most beautiful country there is!
59
Brad AFirst thing every morning I check out your update vs. the sport page. Looks like your having a great time. Without the rain of course!
60
Tim GLol, up here in Washington ... if you ride year round 40 degrees and rain isn't at all uncommon. Many times during the winter months I'll be lucky if I see even one other bike on the road. I wear a waterproof snowmobile suit for the worst of it. It keeps me comfy and dry. Love your guys posts. Fun adventure.
61
Dan GLove your blog. Ridden much of that territory on my 1200GS. Having trouble imagining what it's like on a 35mph scooter. Good luck
62
Bob HYou guys are amazing! If you don't mind, what kind of rain gear are you using?
63
Jeffrey GBob we are wearing plastic alpinestar rain pants, boot covers, klim tomahawk jacket and klim powerxross gloves
64
AviDid you install heated grips on the scooters?
65
Jeffrey GAvi: No we did not and it was terrible today without them. we were at 11000 ft and it had to be in the 20 with snow all around
66
Lynlee of the HelixGlad you two and your scooters are hanging tough! Safe travels!

81
Tom BCan you say what Jeffery is doing in picture 16 &17 on day 9?
82
Tom BFamous saying (are we there yet)
83
Gary V.Sounds like it's time to "Man Up" and kick start that Chinese Scooter. That's what you get when you over use the "Sissy Button"! I hope that the bearing in the starter motor is the only one that fails! It cracks me up that the Harley guy seemed worn out riding that "Couch" around. I don't think he could hang with you guys on a scooter...Ha!
84
Garth WI could spend a lot of time riding the roads and trails in the Black Hills. Went there last year for a few days and just scratched the surface.
85
Steve L.Thanks for the name mention in your adventure. Yes, I probably would of had the nut for you guys. If you are going thru Mankato Minn, stop at the "Modern Garage". Joe Miller a Colorado & Moab rider will help you guys with bike needs. I am presently in Steamboat remembering when we were here for the great Continental Divide Ride we did back when. Keep it going-thinking I just might do the scooter ride next year.
86
Tim GIt looks like it says Phone from car because it's low so you can pull up to it like a drive through and use the phone without getting out of your car.
87
AviIt's a drive thru pay phone
88
Cy RSounds like fun
89
Bob HSo next year we'll all have to simply ask locals for directions? Too funny!
90
Gary V.Happy 4th of July Guys! You guys are amazing all the way to CHEE-CA-GO! Are you going to go thru Sturgis again? Sturgis MI, that is. I wonder if they have any "Biker Bars" there? Be careful, and watch out for those Deers?
91
Davyd Bhow easy it to get to the starter and check on the bendix and the ring gear? arter
92
Jeff PVery sorry to hear about Jeffrey's grandfather. I remember him from your wedding. A very nice man. Hugs to all who loved him as you look back on a life well-lived.
93
Bob HSo sorry to hear of the news of the passing of your wife's father.

VIC MOnly 166 miles North East on the 69 and you guys will be in my hometown! Don't blink or you'll miss it.
98
Jeff mI am a firm believer the the fruit of a tree does not fall too far from its base. Why ? Because Jeffrey is as nuts as you are kevin. Great stories.
99
Bill SYou guys rock. Keep on going! ...and know that I'm rooting you on, Great updates too!
