I learn from my desk as you guys travel. So I look forward to your updates. If I could, I think your audience would be interested in the things you encounter that "surprise and delight" you - perhaps detailing an odd character met along the way, first site of a herd of elk in a steamy bog at sunrise or discovery that Starbucks Travleler bags can carry spare fuel for long reaches. Cell phone connex in the middle of nowhere. Mechanical equipment you're carrying. Pulling in to a crumbling cafe in Central Canada. Security for you and your bike. The empowerment of being alone. These are the things that ignite the adventure spirit. Be safe, know that you're in our minds and hearts. Stay to the right of the center line and call if you need help.

Karen starts class at William and Mary Aug 19'th, my last day at HP is still Aug 30'th. It was great riding w/you last year, I look forward to when we can do it again. This time I won't fall - I can't afford it.
