The Penn State Center for Sustainability, the Department of Mathematics and the Eberly College of Science Center for Excellence in Science Education present a workshop on Multidisciplinary STEM Engagement through Sustainability Education September 13 and 14, 2012, on Penn State's University Park Campus with invited guest, Dr. Thomas Pfaff, Associate Professor of Mathematics and Co-Director of Multidisciplinary Sustainability Education Project, Ithaca College Tentative Agenda: Thursday, September 13 11 AM to 1 PM - Presentation on educating for sustainability and question/answer session(114 McAllister Bldg) 1 PM to 2 PM - Lunch and networking (114 McAllister Bldg) 2 PM to 3:30 PM - Small Group work--meetings with Dr. Pfaff (114 McAllister Bldg) 4 PM to 6 PM - Sustainability in STEM Education working session (215 Armsby Bldg) 7:35 PM to 9:15 PM - College of Education Sustainability Film Series: Episode 1, with post-screening discussion by Dr. Pfaff (112 Kern Bldg) Friday, September 14 10 AM - Optional networking and Q&A with Dr. Pfaff (016 Ritenour Bldg) Recommended parking - Pugh St. Garage.
