Labour within Do-It-Yourself Music Culture

This information collected in this survey is will be used by Susan Gill as part of a PhD thesis at the School of Media, DIT. The study seeks to examine the subjective experience of current Do-It-Yourself music practitioners, including but not limited to musicians, bloggers and record label owners with reference to theories of post-industrial labour and an understanding of practices within their socio-cultural context. Participants must note that all information gathered in this survey will be published in a PhD thesis and conference/journal papers which will be accessible to the general public. It will not be used for any commercial purposes or sold to third parties.
