Cornell Outing Club White Water Kayak Survey
We would like to create a list of people in the area who want to go on white water trips and be involved in related activities. This will help everyone figure out who is available, to run which river difficulty, etc.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE OUTING CLUB OR CORNELL TO BE ON THIS LIST.
(But if you want to borrow gear to go on one of our trips, it costs $10/semester or $20/year, which is a bargain and gives you a way to try out boats you might not otherwise.)
Here's more about the Outing Club:
http://cornelloutingclub.org
As your skills and preferences change you're welcome to come back and redo the survey at any time. We will periodically delete older duplicate entries.
When you are done filling out the form you will get a link to see everyone's responses - and you can bookmark it to help you find folks with compatible interests and abilities.
In order to complete this form you will need to go here, take the quiz, and get your Keel Hauler score:

If you have any questions about classification of white water, there is a description here:

Please be conservative when you take this test. We'd rather be safe than get you into a situation over your head.

*
Yes, bring on the brown!
No thanks, I'd rather paddle when it's warm.
Do you have a car? Does it have a rack? How many people (including boats and gear) can you accomodate, including yourself?
*
Choose
I don't have a car.
I have a car but it doesn't have a rack.
I have a car and it has a rack. It can hold up to 4 boats carefully stacked, 69-style.
I have a truck or van and can accomodate even more than 4 boats & people.
What styles of boating do you like the most?
Click all that apply. If you're not sure, leave the question blank. For more information about these types of white water kayaking, see here:

Never done it but I'd like to try it!
Hate it. Would rather do taxes.
Not my favorite, but I'll partake if it's there.
I'd go out of my way to do it, but there are other things I'd rather do.
Love it. Would do it to the exclusion of eating and sleeping if I could.
Playboating / Freestyle
Surfing in the ocean or big lake waves
River Running
Slalom
Polo
Squirt Boating
Hucking Waterfalls
Steep Creeking

Do you have any additional comments?
For example, if you'd like to share your Keel Hauler quiz assumptions, or want to specify more about any of your answers, tell us about any related or specific skills and certifications, give us an idea of the rivers you've run or played, indicate whether you're willing to help teach and / or lead trips, etc...
