About the Self-Assessment Tool
This Self-Assessment Tool, which hereinafter is referred as “the tool” has been created for Institutions, Schools, Faculties and Programs involved in providing training and education in the field of the public administration in order to assess whether or not they meet the Standards of Excellence in Public Administration Education and Training. The tool will also help the Institutions/ Schools/Faculties/Programs to familiarize themselves with the criteria and benchmark developed by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration to measure the Standard of Excellence in Public Administration Education and Training.
It will take about 35 to 40 minutes to complete the self-assessment tool.
The results of this self-assessment will be based on aggregate data. There are 39 questions that correspond to the main five categories of the criteria for assessing the Standards of Excellence.
