Please fill out this form to audition for Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, to be performed on April 28, 2013 (11am & 3pm) at Pollard Middle School in Needham, MA.

Everyone is invited to participate, kids as well as adults, religious school, day school or private school, Temple Aliyah member or not.

Participants will audition either on Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Wed., Feb.6.

Those called for callbacks will be notified by Friday, Feb. 8.

         
          Auditions

          Tuesday, Feb. 5, 6pm-9pm & Wed., Feb. 6, 6pm-9pm (Please indicate in the form below which day you will be auditioning)

          Sunday, Feb. 10, 3:30-5:00 PM (Children's Chorus AUDITION ONLY)          
         
          Callbacks Sunday, Feb. 10, 5:30pm-7:30pm


 **Children's Chorus will be rehearsing separately
          on Sunday Mornings from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM and called for stage rehearsals on Sunday afternoons beginning on March 31st. ** (see schedule below)
REGISTRATION, ADS & NOMINAL FEE
As a non-profit organization most of our activities and events are self-financed, therefore for us to cover the basic costs (Director and Music Director's fees, Choreographer's fees, costumes, set building, etc) we need to charge a minimum fee that will help with those. Thank you for understanding.

Participation Fees:

          $75 Registration Fee (Grades 6 and up and Adults)

          $25 Ad (you can find a business, family or friend who want to
          put an Ad in the Playbill)

AUDITIONS FOR ADULTS-WHAT TO BRING & PREPARE?
Please note that EVERYONE who has already signed up to audition should arrive at 6pm on either Tuesday, Feb. 5 or Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Auditions will be held at Temple Aliyah, 1664 Central Ave., Needham in the Social Hall.

We should be finished by about 7:30pm, but please be flexible as we want to make sure everyone gets a chance to show what they can do!  And please encourage friends to sign up to audition - there are many parts in the show that we need to fill.

(If we have many more people sign up to audition, we may invite some participants to arrive at 7:30pm.)

Those people who are being considered for lead roles will be called back for a second audition on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 5:30pm. We will notify you by email and also post the callback list on our facebook group page :

To prepare for the audition:
Please prepare a song from ANY MUSICAL (including Joseph) and be prepared to sing 16-32 bars, or about 30 seconds.

You may bring the sheet music and we will have an accompanist or if you prefer you may sing a cappella. If you don't know any songs from a musical, you may prepare any other song that you choose. The show is all sung, so everyone will be expected to sing. However, if you prefer, you can sing with someone else for your audition.

Please bring a photo and be sure to label it with your name and phone number.

CHILDREN's CHORUS AUDITION-WHAT TO BRING & PREPARE?
Welcome everyone!

Thank you so much for signing up to audition for the Temple Aliyah upcoming production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoats (aka JATD).  I know we will have a lot of fun.  If you don't know me,  my name is Wendy Bornstein and I am helping as a producer and will look forward to meeting everyone.

We have your child registered to audition for the children's chorus on Sunday February 10th from 3:30-5:30.

We will be working with the children and teaching them a few songs so no need to prepare anything in advance.  

Please bring a photo and be sure to label it with name and phone number.

We are excited to have such a fabulous number of people participating in the first TA production.  Of note, we still have some principle roles that need auditionees so if you are able feel free to circulate the attached flyer as well.  Thank you very much.
