ABOUT
Ladies Rock Camp is a weekend day camp that serves as an annual fundraiser for our RCRC Summer Camp.

LRC is an opportunity for ladies 19 and over to let loose, play and write music together, and to encourage each other to step out of life-long comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment. For some women, this is their vacation. For others, it is an opportunity to realize a dream that has been suppressed since childhood. For others, it is a chance to experience camaraderie in an all-female learning environment.

Participants start to learn and/or practice their instrument of choice* on Friday, then continue to receive instrument instruction throughout the weekend. Meanwhile, they also form a band and work together to write an original song to play on stage before a screaming public audience on Sunday. Over the course of the weekend there are also a variety of workshops with topics ranging from equipment management and vocabulary, to DIY band promotions, to the history of women in rock.
TUITION
The cost of camp is $375.00.  You application will not be accepted until we receive your tuition. Online payment is available on the Ladies Rock Camp page of our website. Checks can be made payable to Rain City Rock Camp for Girls and sent to 117 E Louisa St, #445, Seattle, WA 98102.
 
LRC's programmatic function is to generate funds and awareness for RCRC Summer Camp, as well as reach out to women who support our mission. Tuition has been set at the absolute lowest amount possible for us to cover our costs and meet expected financial goals for our programs. We are unable to offer a reduced fee for early registration, or other reduced tuition options this year.

If you can give more than the tuition, we will enthusiastically accept your donation! All donations are tax deductible. While your tuition is not considered a donation, any amount beyond that is, so please consider giving an extra amount if at all possible. Whether you can give $5.00 or $5,000.00, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!
ENROLLMENT PROCESS AND CONFIRMATION
We will confirm your enrollment via email, mail or telephone as soon as we process your application and check. If instrument spots fills up before your application and check reaches us, we will notify you by telephone, mail or email and automatically assign you to your second instrument choice. We will add you to a waiting list for your first instrument choice. We will announce on our website when enrollment or specific instruments are full.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Should you need to cancel altogether and you give us at least 30 days notice prior to the start of camp, you will be issued a full refund, minus a $50 application fee. However, if you cancel within 30 days of the start of camp, you will be charged an additional $50.00 cancellation fee on top of the application fee.


ACCOMMODATIONS
Rain City Rock Camp for Girls does not provide accommodations. Some local participants may be willing to host out-of-town campers. Please indicate your preference on your application and we will do our best to coordinate a host for you.

SCHEDULE
About one month before camp, you will receive a detailed schedule of the weekend. However, you can plan on camp beginning at 11:30AM on Friday and ending around 5:00PM on Sunday, including Showcase times. Please take these hours into consideration when making travel arrangements and adjusting work schedules. You should plan on being at camp for all hours according to the schedule posted on the website. It’s a good idea to allow about two hours of travel and check in time to get to and from the airport by car, or 3 hours by public transportation, for your departing flight on Sunday. If you can, we recommend staying until Monday morning. There will be a celebration party after the Showcase on Sunday that is not to be missed!
