I believe that education should be publicly funded and accessible to all Californians regardless of race, economic background, or immigration status. I oppose the 81% tuition hike proposed by UC President Mark Yudof, which would raise tuition by over $9,000 to $22,000 a year for in-state students, as well as all cuts to staff, teachers, and services at the university. I commit to showing my support for public education by joining the rally at Sproul Plaza on November 9th at 12:00 p.m.
