Be A Part Of The "2013 Darwin Day Roadshow"
NESCent wants to bring evolution to your school/community.  We will send a small team of our scientists and science educators to your town to visit your school, talk to your students about their research in evolutionary biology, describe what it takes to become an evolutionary biologist (and what some of the rewards and challenges are), and help students understand why it is relevant to them.

Other activities might include a public presentation by our scientists to your community on evolution, screening an evolution-themed movie at a local library or community center and discussing it with our scientists, or any other ideas you might have.  As a "NESCent Darwin Day Scholar", you will help us design a series of events that best serve the needs of your school and community.

If you're interested in becoming a "NESCent Darwin Day Scholar" and helping to bring cutting edge evolutionary science to your school/community, fill out the following form and let us know why you think we should come to you!

If you have questions, please contact Dr. Jory Weintraub at jory@nescent.org.

DEADLINE TO APPLY IS 8PM (Pacific) ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9th, 2012!
