Cabot's Juniors (and anyone else interested!) are invited to a special Cabot-sponsored trip on Saturday, September 29th. That evening, we will be travelling about an hour south to Providence, RI for WaterFire. Open to the public, this seasonal event features music, performers, food, gondola rides and 100 blazing bonfires along the Woonasquatucket, Moshassuck, and Providence Rivers that run through the heart of the city. WaterFire is a beautiful community celebration, city gala, and work of visual and musical art. Most importantly, WaterFire is what you chose to make it - there is no set itinerary, so come along ready for spontaneous fun, beautiful scenes, and great Cabot company!
WHEN are we going?
-On Saturday, September 29th we will leave Cabot by shuttle at 3:30pm, travel to South Station via the MBTA Red Line, and catch the 4:35pm MBTA Commuter Rail train to Providence (ETA in Providence: 5:40pm).
-WaterFire begins at sunset (6:30pm).
-We will meet at the Providence train station by 9:45pm to catch the 10pm train (the last of the night) back to Boston.
WHAT will we do at WaterFire?
-See above; once in Providence, feel free to wander through the event and buy dinner from the restaurant or vendor(s) of your choice (Dinner will not be subsidized).
WHO can come?
-Cabot Juniors are especially encouraged to come, as this trip will be considered a special Junior Outing, but ANYONE at Cabot is welcome to attend!

HOW MUCH will the trip cost?
$10 for your round-trip train ticket*, plus the red line trip to and from South Station and whatever you decide to spend on dinner. Please bring your $10 ticket fee will be to Jennifer DuClos after you sign up on the form below.
*Normally, these tickets are $20, but Cabot has generously agreed to subsidize half of that cost for each person!
