Junior Counselor Application
 The Junior Counselors Program is a volunteer opportunity for high school students interested in helping to create amazing theatre experiences with pre-school and elementary age children.  Participants will learn the ins and outs of a professional theatre training program while aiding students' creation of orginal stories, characters and design elements.

All junior counselors will be assigned to one of our camp teachers and will assist them in the classroom with rehearsals and production for the week. This program gives participants the opportunity to serve as role model for younger campers not only during class, but also on breaks and during lunch.  It is a great opportunity for teenagers interested in working with children and/or theatre—not to mention a fun and interactive way to earn those much needed volunteer hours!

If selected to participate in the program, you must attend a mandatory orientation meeting (including all returning applicants).  It will take place on a Saturday from 1 to 2:30 pm and will be a short overview of what to expect this summer. To make sure everyone can attend, you can choose from one of the following dates: Saturday, June 1st, 2013 or Saturday, June 8th, 2013.

We will notify you no later than May 8, 2013 of your scheduled dates. I so look forward to having you on our team!

Please note: Due to lack of interest, we have decided to discontinue the offering for our Junior Counselor to play in our Summer Musical bands. We hope to have the program up and running for Summer 2014!
