Individual Covenant

I will become a member of Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light by pledging to do one or more of the following each year:

- Learn about climate change, environmental stewardship and energy production and use
- Conduct an energy audit of my home to identify ways to conserve energy and act on them
- Use renewable energy by purchasing wind power, installing solar panels or other clean energy technology
- Advocate for public policies that reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and protect health in a just manner
- Help form or join an existing Green Team or Environmental Stewardship Committee in my congregation or faith community
- Lead or support an educational program in my congregation on care of the earth and climate change
- Provide support for projects in developing countries that mitigate climate change
