2013 Flagg Social Justice Award Nominations

The Georgia College Flagg Social Justice Legacy Award recognizes members of the Middle Georgia Community for their efforts to promote social justice, equity, diversity, human rights and/or community advocacy. Three awards are given: One to a Georgia College student or registered student organization, one to a Georgia College faculty, staff or administrator, and one to a Middle Georgia Community member. 1.) The university employee nominee must be a current faculty, staff or administrator that has founded or held a leadership position in any Georgia College-related initiative pertains to furthering diversity on our campus. 2.) The university student nominee must be a student or a registered student organization that has founded or held a leadership position in any Georgia College related initiative that pertains to furthering diversity on our campus. 3.) The Middle Georgia Community nominee must have demonstrated compassion, perseverance, courage and leadership by engaging in the difficult work of fostering equity and our common humanity through projects, programs, efforts, principles or practices.
