Interested in participating in an exciting trip to Senegal for spring break? If so, please submit the interest form below.
This trip is open to all members of the Harvard community and is being organized as part of an effort to increase the awareness of Africa and African issues at Harvard. The trip will involve a meetings with legal, business and political leaders, visits to cultural and historical sites, and volunteer work with grassroots organizations.
The planned dates are March 15-24, 2013. While airfare will be subsidized, selected applicants will be expected (1) to pay a trip deposit of $250 by December 7 2012, (2) to cover all other trip costs, and (3) to actively participate in a committee that will raise funds to cover the costs of the trip.
Please complete the form by Sunday, November 25, 2013, at 11:59 p.m (if needed, we will extend the deadline to accommodate applicants who are unable to complete the form due to the thanksgiving holiday; applications after the deadline will be added to a waitlist). Selected applicants will be receive notifications by email.
