Talk: The Iranian Nuclear Program and the Response of Israel, the EU, and the US: Law and Policy Options in an American Election Year

Join Dr. Emmert to learn about the ambiguity of the Iranian program in the context of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. What are the options available to the West? The talk will question whether the Israel should and could prevent the development of an Iranian nuclear bomb with a pre-emptive strike on Iran's research and enrichment facilities. Finally, Prof Emmert will discuss with the audience the possibilities for the EU and the US to influence Iran and Israel towards an outcome that ensures long-term peace and security for everyone in the region.
