Narrator Assessment Project - Thanksgiving 2011
To show that you understand narrator, create a project that answers the following prompt:
How can a narrator influence a story? To answer this question, create a project that tells two stories and explains how the choice of narrator can influence a story.
Parts:
--Story A: Retell the experience of one person at the Jammer Thanksgiving Dinner using first-person narration
--Story B: Retell the experience of the Jammer Thanksgiving Dinner dinner using third-person limited narration (English 10: use third person omniscient)
--Explanation: Clearly explain how the choice of narrator changes the stories
Notes:
-If you did not attend the dinner, you may write about your experience on Thanksgiving day this year.
-You may work with a partner in your class period, if you think that you can equally share the workload and meet after school to work together.
-You may present your work as a voice recording, written paper, video, or other creative presentation of your choice.
-Remember to read the entire expectations below, so you will earn full points.
-This will be due at the beginning of class on Wednesday.
