EI 2013 G General Emissions Form

BEFORE starting to complete this form be sure to have your permit number and the total hours of operation (or throughput) available. If you have more than one emissions unit or process you should make sure that the Unit ID matches the identification given in your permit. You will complete this form once for each unit or process at your facility. If you have multiple permits, be sure that the permit number matches each facility. THIS FORM will allow you to enter the run times or throughput for EACH emissions unit or process, for each boiler or engine or stockpile etc. When you complete the form for the first one, and submit it, there is an option to "return to the form." YOU MUST enter each emission unit separately per permit. If there are multiple engines on one permit, then each one was issued a "Unit ID." When you complete the form for the first one, and submit it, there is an option to "return to the form." You can then enter the next generator for each permit, then go on to the next permit. HINTS: If you're sure of your permit number and unit id for each process, you needn't bother with Facility name --it's not a required field--but if you make an error on the permit number it will be difficult to register your values correctly. You might keep word document or something else open so that you can copy and paste email and signature from one to the other. Or you may open the form multiple times. (It's not a perfect system yet. We hope to have better forms for next year, with the capability of entering multiple emission units in one form.) IF YOU HAVE SEVERAL (MORE THAN 5) PERMITS WITH SEVERAL EMISSIONS UNITS EACH, YOU MAY SUBMIT AN ELECTRONIC SPREADSHEET WITH THE SAME FIELDS. THE FIELDS (COLUMNS) MUST HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME NAMES AS USED ON THIS FORM. YOU MAY REQUEST A BLANK SPREADSHEET OR SEND YOUR SPREADSHEET TO AQDEI@CABQ.GOV
* Required

Emission Unit and Annual Hours of Operation or Throughput

OPTIONAL Permitted emissions factors (rates)

If you wish for AQD to calculate the emissions for your facility you may stop here. The annual emissions will be calculated from emissions factors on file. Afterward you will receive a summary. If you have used Alternate Throughput, assume that unit of measure rather than lb/hr.

Annual Emissions as Tons per Year

You may continue to calculate emissions in the section below. To calculate tons per year, multiply the hours of operation times the lbs/hour rate, and divide by 2000. Again for alternate throughput units, assume the units of measure in place of pounds per hour.
