Bike Share Survey

Bike share is a system of stations and bicycles throughout an area that provides short-term bike rentals to members. Members typically join and pay at a computerized kiosk or on the internet as either a casual member (such as daily for visitors) or long-term member (such as monthly or annual). With a validated “key”, a member can unlock a bike, go for a ride, then return it to any docking station within the system. In most systems, it is free for members to ride for the first 30 minutes, then a nominal fee is charged beyond for additional usage time. There are currently over 300 bike share systems worldwide, including North American cities such as Boston, Washington D.C., Montreal, Denver, Miami Beach, and New York City (summer 2012). We would love to hear your thoughts on a bike share system in Hoboken and Jersey City. Thanks for filling out the survey!
