The Lytle Creek League Of Conservators No Child Left Indoors Volunteers Present  ~  Earth Day Birds Of Prey  ~
Join us Earth Day, Saturday, April 20,  for an opportunity for children to get up close and personal with some of our feathered friends – raptors.  Children and their adult companions will learn about the important role raptors such as owls, hawks, and vultures play in our ecosystem and personally meet raptors.  The program is a partnership between the Lytle Creek League of Conservators/No Child Left Indoors volunteers and Raptor, Inc.

Raptor, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of birds of prey through rehabilitation, education and conservation.  Their goals include the education of the public on the importance of raptors and the preservation of their native habitat; and the rehabilitation and return of injured raptors to their natural environment.

The program starts at 10:00 a.m. and again at 11:15 a.m.  Everyone is welcome to join us for this FREE program, which will be held in the Community Room in the Wilmington Municipal Building (69 N. South St., Wilmington).

Registration is required and space is limited, so please register below.   Parents or other responsible adult must accompany children for this Earth Day program.

If you are interested in your children participating in a service project in conjunction with Earth Day, please let us know when you register.
