Issue-Based Workshop Facilitator Call-Out

The issue-based content at PowerShift will primarily be delivered through panels. There will be a limited number of issue-based workshop slots and we are interested in hearing your idea.

Workshops will be 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.

Facilitators must be willing to communicate with the conference organizers in the lead-up to PowerShift 2012 to make sure that the content is in line with the goals and outcomes, to answer questions and to ensure that all the different workshops come together to make a coherent and productive curriculum.

We think this is a great opportunity for you to reach a broad audience, develop your facilitation repertoire and be part of a growing youth movement for climate justice. We really look forward to working with you.

PowerShift is a youth driven movement. We want to provide opportunities for youth facilitators and speakers at PowerShift 2012, however, we also value learning from more experienced people and elders in our movement. Therefore, while in some cases youth facilitators may be prioritized, we are open to people of all ages.
