Stand up for communities: BME Research in Highfields/Spinney Hills, Leicester
You may have heard that here at Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) we recently completed a piece of research into the impact of funding cuts on the Voluntary and Community Sector in Leicestershire.

As part of this campaign we are now starting further research to show the effects of funding cuts in the Spinney Hills and Highfields area for voluntary groups working Black Minority Ethnic communities. We will be working in partnership with The Race Equality Centre and Highfields Community Association, and we are hoping to work with as many other groups as possible to show Councillors the impact of the cuts on the community.

We would be very grateful if you could fill this survey in. Please contact ivan.l@valonline.org.uk if you would like help with the form, or further detail about the research. If you would like further information about the Stand Up for Communities campaign please visit
