Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
Weekly Meetings- Our general weekly meetings will consist of discussion amongst eco-reps of different houses on how to educate the houses on the theme for the month. These discussions will lead to the planning of awareness/education events or projects to be put on by the Greek Eco-Reps as a whole or done in individual houses. These meetings are very important and absolutely mandatory.
***Note: Depending on interest for the program, these meetings may take place from 3-4 on Fridays or another night of the week (this semester we had a meeting on Wednesday nights from 7-8). The first few meetings of the semester will last both hours for training purposes. If you are not taking the class for credit but would like to be an eco-rep for your house for other reasons, attendance of the Friday class is still highly encouraged, but if you have class at this time we have ways of keeping you involved still, so do not let this keep you from applying to shadow!

Individual Project-- On your own or in a small group, create a house wide social marketing campaign to influence your peers'    environmentally related behaviors.

Waste/Energy/Water Audits - These are also indicators of your progress and will be completed at the beginning and end of the semester. As a result of your outreach, we hope to see more environmentally conscience decisions being made by your peers that will result in less waste, energy, and water consumption.

Weekly Journal Updates - These entries are meant to be very brief and simply an outline of your upcoming plans. You can also share some ideas you’ve been thinking about implementing. These help the professor of the course learn what you are accomplishing on a weekly basis.

Regularly Check Your E-mail - This is a MUST! Our primary method of communication is through e-mail and the goal is to provide you with weekly e-mails on Mondays that outline the upcoming week. These emails may sometimes be long, but it is important you read them through and respond if necessary ASAP. Although we’ll try to have everything sent to you with ample notice, we can’t promise you that will always be the case so you must check frequently.
