Iowa SARE PDP Scholarship Application - Vegetable Crop Production and Management (HORT 493)

If you are an education and/or outreach professional working in sustainable agriculture and you would like to apply for funds to participate in Dr. Ajay Nair's distance course in Vegetable Crop Production and Management (HORT 493), please fill out the questionnaire below. Please be complete; all except the last question require responses. Additionally, you will be asked to complete a feedback questionnaire once you complete the course. Those taking this course in a for-credit capacity are eligible for a $431 scholarship to defray the cost of one ISU graduate credit hour. Those taking this course in a non-credit continuing education capacity are eligible for a $150 scholarship to offset the cost of registration. SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education) is a nationwide organization that provides grants and education to advance sustainable innovation in American agriculture. The SARE Professional Development Program (PDP) is specifically designed to help sustainable agriculture educators maximize the quality and effectiveness of their education and outreach work by supporting training, grants, and other resources that help build their awareness, knowledge, and skills.
