Application for First-Year Learning Community in Trout Hall at CMU, 2013-2014

The First-Year Learning Community (FYLC) at Central Michigan University is open to any student during their first-year. Students electing to live in this engaging living-learning community are eager to explore the academic, personal, and career resources available at CMU. Students explore their career options, actively utilize campus resources, and focus on creating a solid foundation for their academic success. Students who benefit the most from the FYLC include: *First-generation college students. *Individuals interested in exploring and choosing a major/minor and professional career pathway. *Open-minded individuals willing to actively seek out opportunities to improve their personal and academic success. There is no cost to participate in this program, and there is no minimum grade point average (GPA) or ACT requirement.
