Advocacy Committee - primarily operates on advocacy concerns around Presbyterian policy. At each general assembly, this team researches the environmental overtures and commissioner’s resolutions coming to the Assembly and then works to provide resourcing to the committees and the Assembly as indicated in accordance with PRCs mission.

Communications Committee - Led by a volunteer newsletter editor, works to brainstorm articles, divide up the work of requesting/following up with particular article authors, copy-edit, etc. Also recommends e-mail communications.

Fundraising Committee – raises funds for PEC operations through various strategies including an annual campaign, year-round donation solicitations, grant-writing, and nurturing major donors.

Membership Committee – nurtures membership by welcoming new members and communicating member information, renewal notices, and surveys; promotes PEC to attract new members; provides resources for Regional Representatives to connect with members and/or recruit members in their region.

Nominating Committee - composed of members not currently serving on the Steering Committee, solicits nominations from the membership and publishes its slate of nominations at least one month prior to the Annual Meeting.

Conference Planning – assist with selecting theme, location, identifying leaders/speakers and logistics

General Assembly Planning – assist with booth, luncheon, and awards planning and implementation

Regional Representative – conduct the affairs of PEC by serving a 2-year term on the Steering Committee that meets by conference call and one annual meeting (if interested, indicate the area where you live)
