Rebooting the Classroom Application
The Games+Learning+Society Educators Symposium is excited to offer participants day-long specialized professional development opportunities.  GLSES attendees accepted to participate in a specialized PD track will learn from an experienced facilitation team and work alongside a small group of colleagues throughout the entire GLSES event.  After attending the morning keynote, participants in specialized PD tracks will meet from 10:00 AM to 4:45 PM (sharing the same lunch hour as general GLSES attendees).

This is the application for the GLSES workshop entitled Rebooting the Classroom: Leveling Up Motivation, Collaboration, and Learning with Gameful Pedagogy (click here for more information http://bit.ly/XZoOpf.)

In this workshop, we invite classroom teachers and teacher coaches with an interest in harnessing gameful pedagogy to create student-centered, engaging, highly motivating, and differentiated instruction in elementary, middle, and high school. After completing Rebooting the Classroom, teachers will leave with a general understanding of gameful pedagogies, experiences linking assessment to game debriefing, and a game ready to play in their classroom.

Space is limited in this workshop, and applications are due by 15 March 2013. Participants will be notified of acceptance within two weeks. A full workshop description is available at http://bit.ly/XZoOpf and information about the GLS conference is available at http://www.gameslearningsociety.org/conference/.
