The goal of this petition is to demonstrate to the administration that the students, faculty and employees of Hudson Valley Community College support a contract with CDTA for universal bus service.   At least five other academic institutions in the Capital Region have made the appropriation of funds for this type of transportation service an institutional priority.  The value of the contract is worth creating a small sustainability fee of no more than five to ten dollars per semester.  It is time for Hudson Valley Community College to become part of a more sustainable community through the use of public transportation.
