VOLUNTEERING AND TERMS
Rules of practice
♦ Dogs should be under handler’s control at all times. Unless your dog is running the course or performing the drills/practice, it shall be confined to a crate or x-pen, or under physical control by a lead.
♦ Participants are to stay and help with public usage after practice (half an hour, twice during the three month practice period), and help put the equipment away after each practice session.
♦ The jumps and hoop should be set at a height appropriate to your dog and his/her abilities. Please replace jump bars after your dog has dislodged them to allow other members to practice.
♦ Dogs exhibiting aggression towards people will be asked to leave.
♦ Members should make every attempt to control their dogs’ barking.
♦ Please pick up after your dog. Do not allow your dog to eliminate on the equipment, avoid your dog fouling in practice areas, or belongings of other handlers, etc. If an accident does happen, it is the responsibility of the handler to clean up after your dog! This may mean getting water from the nearby toilets to flush off the pee from equipment or other handlers’ belongings.
