What is the Google Africa Trainee Programme?
This internship is an opportunity for computer science students from African universities to gain experience working in Zurich, working specifically with the Emerging Markets team.
What is Google looking for?
Google tends to look for students and researchers that have strong algorithms, data structures and problem solving skills. Students should also be proficient in either Java, Python, or C++ and currently pursuing a BS, MS or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
When does the Africa Trainee Programme take place?
The Africa Trainee Programme is 3 months in length and takes place from June to August.
