USGBC Idaho Thermal Imaging 10/9/12 RSVP
The Idaho Chapter of US Green Building Council presents
Aerial Themography and Boise's Geothermal System
by Leo A. Geis of Idaho Airships with Kent Johnson, the city of Boise's geothermal engineer

Tuesday, Oct. 9; 5:30-7:30 pm; Water Cooler conference room, 1401 Idaho St.

This evening program is an overview of thermal imaging--using infrared photography to picture the temperature radiating from buildings and other objects. Leo Geis is a specialist in conventional aerial photography who has been exploring the opportunities raised by aerial thermography. The presentation will show a new way of looking at the built environment and offer examples of thermography in building performance applications. One example is how aerial thermography has provided insights into Boise's geothermal heating system.

The evening event includes a reception with refreshments and ample time for Q&A.
