Date: Sunday, September 30th, 2012
Time: 11am-5pm
Location: UCSC CASFS Farm
The Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems (CASFS) & UCSC Food Systems Working Group in conjunction with the Friends of the UCSC Farm & Garden will be hosting the annual Fall Harvest Festival Sunday, September 30th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CASFS Farm at UC Santa Cruz.
We invite selected community and campus groups that are linked with our food and farming systems and environmental conservation efforts to set up tables in order to share knowledge and inform attendees of what's happening in the community.
The event allows the community to come together to celebrate the season's bounty, sample great tasting food, enjoy live music, enjoy tours and workshops, and honor the food and farming system in our daily lives.
Activities range from childrens' face painting, a fresh squeezed apple juice station, to tractor rides and cooking demos. This event has a little of everything for every age range. This year student programming will excel as UCSC students plan exciting activities for their peers!
If your organization is interested in tabling please complete the form below before August 1st and we'll get in touch with you by August 20th to confirm details for tabling at this event. Tabling takes place for the entire event so we ask you to plan accordingly. We can provide a 6 foot table and two chairs per organization. You will need to bring your own linen/table cloth and tent shad structure if you would like.
Thanks for your continued interest and support of the CASFS Harvest Festival and we look forward to being in touch soon!
