Preferred Position Order
Please put the positions that you want in order of the one you want the most to the one you want the least.
What are your qualifications for this position? *
Explain your past experiences, relevant skills, or character traits that might be beneficial in effectively carrying out this position. If applying for multiple positions, make sure to justify the qualifications for each position.
What contributions would you make to FUSION and its members if you are given that specific position? *
List things that would be relevant specifically to the position you are applying for.
Gaining an appointed board position means more than just carrying out your own specific role. What kind of responsibilities would you be willing to take on as a board member that would extend beyond just your specific role? *
How would you contribute as a board member in general (to your fellow board members, to the general members, to FUSION as a whole)?
Would you have any problems/issues as far as time commitment as a FUSION board member? Describe how much time you are willing to dedicate. If you forsee any time conflicts, list and explain them here. *
Becoming a board member is a serious time commitment. Board members are required to attend our Sunday board meetings that start at 7pm, in addition to our weekly Wednesday meetings. You are also encouraged to attend our other activities/events (FUSIONTek, FUSIONFit, Fundraisers, etc)
When will you be available to meet in the summer? *
If you become a new board member, it is mandatory that you attend TransFUSION. This is when you get briefed of your duties by the current member who holds the position that you are taking over. This is also the time when we plan the fall quarter. After the serious business, we typically go out together for a day of fun as the new board. This will be a 2 to 3 day commitment some time in the summer. If you have any specific conflicts, please state them now so we can schedule the date of TransFUSION accordingly based on everyone's availability.
Please list when you will be available for an interview? *
Interviews will be during week 8. We will take into consideration these times when scheduling your interview. Please list your availability for that whole week including Sunday.
