Please join us in welcoming Professor Gonzales to Illinois Wesleyan. Professor Gonzales is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Chicago and his research focuses on the ways in which legal and educational institutions shape the everyday experiences of the poor, minorities, and immigrant youth. He has published in the American Sociological Review, Current Anthropology, International Migration, and has been featured in the NY Times and Chicago Tribune.
