2012-2013 Something More School of Ministry Application
Thank you for your interest in enrolling in Something More School of Ministry.  

Something More School of Ministry (SMSOM) was founded in 2012 to equip believers for a Spirit-empowered life that glorifies the Son and builds identity in the Father’s love, transforming nations and generations for the Kingdom of God.

The school is divided into 3 quarters, September through May meeting on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at Appalachian House of Prayer (151 Howard St. Suite 1, Boone, NC 28607).  The first year focuses on equipping believers to release the kingdom of God into their sphere of influence.  Students will gain understanding of their identity in Christ, learn how to gauge the Truth of God's Word and effectively engage others with the power of the Holy Spirit and love of Jesus.  As students learn to bridge the gifts of the Spirit with the fruit of the Spirit, they will receive training in prophetic/power evangelism and will participate in local outreaches.  At the end of the first year, there will be an opportunity for a short-term mission trip which students will raise additional funds for.

Students will have weekly assignments including readings, projects, short papers and group evangelism.  The primary teaching is through our staff members but powerful guest speakers will be integrated along with DVD teachings.

September 25th- First day of class and First tuition payment due

We want to make SMSOM available for all.  In that effort, we have made the tuition very affordable.  Tuition, for the year, is $750 for individuals and $1,350 for couples.  This includes tuition for the class and student workbooks.  Students are expected to pay in full and on time at the designated payment installment dates throughout the year.  The first tuition payment is due the first day of class (September 25th, 2012).  Please see below for tuition payment amounts and due dates.

If tuition payments are more than 5 days past due, there is a $25 late fee for individuals and $35 late fee for couples.

Application Fee: $25 one-time fee (couples must submit separate applications and each pay an application fee)

Individuals: $250 per quarter totaling $750 for one year (includes tuition and workbook) plus textbooks

Couples: $450 per quarter totaling $1,350 for one year (includes tuition and workbooks) plus textbooks

A 10% discount is offered to students who pay tuition in full by September 25th, 2012.

*The application fee is non-refundable and must be submitted along with the application.  Applications will not be viewed until the application fee is received.

Refund Policy:
In the event that a student withdraws from school within the first quarter and has previously paid their tuition in full, they may receive a refund of up to 85%. This refunded amount is based upon a pro-rated monthly portion of paid tuition. After January 15th, tuition is non-refundable.

Accreditation:
Something More School of Ministry is not an accredited school with the State of North Carolina; therefore students are not eligible for financial aid, student loans, or grants.  Graduates will receive a non-accredited certificate.

October 30th, 2012- Individual $125; Couples $225

December 4th, 2012- Individual $125; Couples $225

January 15th, 2012- Individual $125; Couples $225

February 5th- Individual $125; Couples $225

March 19th- Individual $125; Couples $225
