January Teaching Skills Workshop - Educator Portfolio: As Important as Your CV

An educator portfolio (EP) is a collection of evidence of the quality of one’s teaching: evidence of preparation, description of activities, products and leadership. It tells more about the educator’s story than a CV. It is especially useful for faculty being considered for advancement and often required for application to educator academies. Our goals for this session are to help you identify why an EP is an essential academic property and to provide you tips for your EP development and maintenance.
