You ride down to see what the gnomes are up to. They hear your approach and turn away from the manipulations of their device to watch as you draw near. You reign in your horse and it lets out a soft whinny and stamps the dirt road a few times. Now that you are closer your suspicions are confirmed, the gnome holding the contraption does look familiar. He's the one from the cavern, the only other person that new you were with Grayson when he died.

The gnome takes one look at you and your distinctive red garb and lets out a dissonant snarl, "You!"
