Internet Usage and Personality Questionnaire

Brief Thank you for agreeing to take part in this study which is going to look at the effect of personality on internet addiction. The broad aim of the study is to discover if there are any links between personality types and internet addiction. The main focus of the project is to identify if are any particular personality types that significantly affect whether a person is addicted to the internet or not. By gaining knowledge on this, it is hoped that the notion of internet addiction will be understood further and can provide some valuable insight on how possibly to help people with internet addiction taking into consideration their personality. This questionnaire will assess any levels of internet addiction and your personality type using Eysenck’s personality questionnaire. Please try to answer the questions as truthfully as possible. You do not have to disclose any information that may cause distress. The questionnaire should not take more than 15 minutes to complete. In order for your data to be kept confidential please create a unique identifier code, this should be made up of the last two letters of your surname and the last three numbers of your telephone number. There is a box below for you to type your code. You have the right to withdraw at anytime during or after you have taken part in the study, if you wish to withdraw your data then please email me your unique identifier code to C.taylor3@unimail.derby.ac.uk, however please do no later than two weeks after completing the study. The information that you provide will be held completely confidential and you will have complete anonymity.
