M.I. Green Application 2013

Penn’s Green Campus Partnership is seeking student volunteers for its annual move-in engagement program, M.I. Green! Volunteers will be selected as environmental leaders to help incoming students learn about green lifestyles and sustainability at Penn. All volunteers receive free early move-in privileges, a free meal plan during NSO, and a special M.I. Green t-shirt! Volunteers will have the unique opportunity to work with the University's sustainability staff and get involved in the Penn's environmental initiatives. Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet other students interested in environmental issues on campus and make lasting friendships beyond the program! Applications are due on Sunday, March 17th.

Participation requirements

All M.I. Green participants must volunteer for a minimum of 20 hours to qualify for early move-in privileges. Any student who fails to meet that requirement will be billed for early move-in. In addition to the volunteer requirement, M.I. Green participants are expected to attend both spring training sessions (on April 18th and 19th), as well as a volunteer orientation session on August 20th. Make up opportunities will be made available for students with legitimate conflicts, but must be scheduled in advance. More information about trainings and volunteer shifts will be sent out upon acceptance into the program. Please direct any immediate questions to Julian Goresko (goresko@upenn.edu).
