PYMC Mashed Media Conference Call for Presenters & Media Makers
Since 2011 Philadelphia Youth Media Collaborative (PYMC) has been convening organizations and youth media makers, facilitating new partnerships and expanding opportunities for educators and youth working in the areas of  education, media arts and youth development.
 
Recognized nationally for its organizing work in the field, the Mashed Media Conference will showcase both local and regional examples of innovative and inspiring youth media work.

We are inviting presenters and makers to participate in our upcoming
PYMC Mashed Media Conference (November 9th, 2013, Philadelphia, PA, 10am-5pm).

Our presenters lead one hour breakout sessions on youth media related topics and/or experiences.
(i.e. A workshop on how to use social media for storytelling or a roundtable on how to integrate media into the classroom).

Our media makers provide hands-on experiences from 11a-4p in an open space with other media makers. Upon request, media makers will receive $50. for supplies, stipends, tokens, etc.

We expect an eclectic blend of educators, media makers, parents, and youth to be in the audience.

This call closes on October 11th 2013.
