Join a Grand Aspirations National Team in 2011-2012!
Thanks for your interest in joining a Grand Aspirations National Team! Here are the steps you can take to join a team:

1) Review the National Structure webpage to understand what each Grand Aspirations National Team is responsible for doing in the organization: http://grandaspirations.org/about-2/structure/

2) Consider carefully the interest, time and energy that you have to put into national teams this upcoming year.

3) If you need to consult more on what the different teams will be doing or what they require, please feel free to get in touch with Matt Kazinka (matt.kazinka@grandaspirations.org)

Thank you! We look forward to working with you.

You and Grand Aspirations!
This section is about your commitments to Grand Aspirations (past, current, and future).
What is your past involvement, if any, with Grand Aspirations, the Summer of Solutions, and/or a local Hub (the NICE or the Minnesota Hub)? *
You can list them: "Hartford SoS participant 2011," "Trainings Team 2010," etc. It's fine if you've never been involved before!
Do you plan to lead a Summer of Solutions program in 2012? *
We want to get a sense of what other commitments people have to the organization and make sure there are some non-program leaders on each team.
How much time per week do you plan to commit to Grand Aspirations National Teams this year? *
Please give an answer in hours per week. This does not count time you spend on local program planning if you are planning a local program.
Do you know of any large periods of time that you will be unavailable between now and August 2012. If so, when?
Unless stated otherwise, we assume that you are signing onto these teams and roles until the end of August 2012. Please let us know if you are not able to commit for that entire period. *
What is your vision for yourself and Grand Aspirations this year? Why is working with Grand Aspirations exciting for you? What do you want to get out of it? What do you want to make happen? *
You can give a list, tell a story, submit a picture (via email to matt.kazinka@grandaspirations.org), whatever this question means to you. It's OK if you don't feel like you have enough context to answer -- this is about what you want the experience to be like. If you are really not sure, go ahead and say that.
What is your first choice team this year? *
How does this team help you accomplish your goals and vision for yourself and Grand Aspirations? What makes you especially well suited for this team? *
If you are interested in being on more than one team, what other team do you want to be on?
How does this team help you accomplish your goals and vision for yourself and Grand Aspirations? What makes you especially well suited for this team?
If you are interested in being on more than two teams, what other team do you want to be on?
How does this team help you accomplish your goals and vision for yourself and Grand Aspirations? What makes you especially well suited for this team?
Are you interested in any single-person roles?
You can do these in addition to national teams. For roles that are associated with but not a part of a national team, that team is listed in parentheses.
How does this role help you accomplish your goals and vision for yourself and Grand Aspirations? What makes you especially well suited for this role?
How do the teams and roles you have selected help you fulfill the vision you laid out above for your work with Grand Aspirations this year? How do they help you accomplish your personal goals? How are you specifically positioned to benefit the organization on these teams and through these roles? *
This is not meant to be an intimidating question but rather to encourage you to think about how you are accomplishing your goals through the organization. If you feel you already answered this question above, please write "See above" in the text box below.
Do you have anything else to say?
Free space! Feel free to ask questions, critique process, share ideas, tell a joke!
