Additional Training Information

When you want to start to take your girls on outings, the course “Girls on the Move”, it is your next step in training.  “Girls on the Move” is required before you can take your girls on a field trip outside of the regular meeting day/time and teaches adults to prepare girls for new adventures. Go step-by-step through the thinking and planning involved in short field trips, daytime outdoor activities and indoor overnights (please see Council Volunteer Policies & Procedures for additional information). First Aid and CPR certification is also required for certain activities so be sure to consult the document entitled Safety Activity Checkpoints located on our website. For course information on both, visit our website training page  http://www.girlscoutsosw.org/adults/voltraining/training
