Art + Design Lab for HS Students: SEPTEMBER CLASSES

Free classes for high school students at the RISD Museum of Art every Thursday in monthly sessions. Each monthly session focuses on specific themes and techniques. Explore how art and design can provoke fresh ideas, elicit conversation, and stimulate creativity. Meet at the 224 Benefit Street entrance, all materials provided. Class title: Abstraction, Adhesion, Tension Class dates: September 6, 13, 20, 27 3:30-5:30pm Class description: During the month of September, students will conduct unconventional 2-D and 3-D experiments using glue, tape, string, paper, pencils, and other familiar materials. Themes of abstraction, adhesion and tension will be explored in the galleries as well as their own projects. Student’s work will be shared during the Museums September 27 Design the Night evening events. . . .
