Thank you for your interest in participating in the English Conversation Program. Participants will earn 1.3 Student Affairs units. A course code is necessary to enroll in the class. Complete the form below to obtain a code.
The ECP meets on Mondays from 4- 5 pm, at the CORE office (UCI student center). English facilitators and international students will be matched on a random basis. During one hour English facilitators will assist internationals with their English skills. Questions and topic ideas will be provided to assist with the conversation. Participation in this program will teach tools and provide experience for those interested in teaching English as a second language. Students participating in this course will also learn about the world while serving as ambassadors of UCI and the U.S.

Students participating must follow these simple rules:
Speak in English.
Arrive early.
Keep the conversation friendly.

Arrive early. The ECP promptly starts at 4:00 pm. arriving early will ensure that you are matched with an English partner. Missing more than 2 sessions will make you earn a NP No Pass.
