End of the Year Information
<center><b>Residents who are not graduating are required to remove their belongings and check out of the halls within 24 hours of their last exams, or by May 9th at 10:00 AM, whichever is earlier.
For graduating seniors, Marywood University residence halls and other housing will close on May 13th at 6:00 PM.</b>
<B><FONT COLOR=FF8C00><font size="5">REQUEST FOR END OF THE YEAR ACCOMMODATIONS</FONT></FONT></B>
<b>Students requesting to stay more than 24 hours past their last final must complete the form
below by 4:30 pm on Friday, April 27, 2012.</b>
Residents requesting to stay up to 48 hours after their last exams should contact their Resident Directors for permission.
<B>Please note: <B>only those students who are graduating, are directly helping with graduation, or are approved because of participation in an athletic competition or other approved activity may stay more than 24 hours after their last exams.
Students not requesting to stay past this time do not need to return this form.</center>
<b>The following policies are in effect:</b>
1) Break housing is available only for residents who have submitted their requests forms by 4:30pm on Friday, April 27, 2012 and who are approved by the Housing and Residence Life Office.
2) Students who are staying in University housing for more than 24 hours after their last final may be charged a fee of $50/day.
3) All university and housing policies will be in effect during the break. Guests are not permitted in University Housing after finals.
4) If any policies are violated, you will be required to move out of University housing immediately.
5) Please note: students staying during any part of break because of their participation with a University-sponsored event represent their team and/or organization. Therefore, a policy violation caused by any student team or organization member will jeopardize the entire team’s ability to stay in University housing.
6) Campus Safety staff members will be on-call and will conduct rounds. In the case of an emergency, you should dial ext. 6242 from campus or (570) 348-6242 from a cell phone.
7) Meal plans will end on May 8th. You will need to arrange for your meals after this time period.
